How was your first event or encounter with Possibilize?
I started as a volunteer at the Sencity Festival, which was an amazing experience. Later, I began studying Leisure Management, which required me to do an internship in the events industry. I reached out to Possibilize to ask if I could do my internship there, and I was given the opportunity to join the Sense team. During my internship, I met many new people and colleagues. Eventually, project leader Bas asked me if I wanted to work at Possibilize, and I said yes. To this day, I still enjoy working as a coordinator.
What has touched or inspired you most during your work at Possibilize?
What appeals to me most about Possibilize is how they organize everything for the festival. It’s amazing to see how they take all the necessary steps to make the festival a success. In the team, I’ve learned a lot about collaboration. Together, you can achieve truly amazing things, and that’s what the Possibilize mindset is all about: anything is possible!
What of Possibilize do you take with you in your personal mission?
Bij Possibilize wil ik een brug slaan tussen de horende en dovenwereld. Het is mijn missie om ervoor te zorgen dat iedereen kan deelnemen aan onze evenementen. Ik zie ons festival als een voorbeeld dat andere evenementen kan inspireren. Dus dat laten we zien hoe inclusiviteit eruit kan zien met het doel dat toegankelijkheid de norm wordt voor alle festivals.
